A 14 genderless pieces collection with a multicultural theme focused on my design philosophy - simplicity and functionality. In this project, I combined Western suit culture with traditional Chinese ink painting.

My goal for XAY FANG was to combine Western suit culture as a male symbol with traditional Chinese ink painting as a female symbol. To show neutrality and equality in my design. I used curved silhouettes to represent the landscape scenes in Chinese ink painting and the clean stitching, closures and cutouts represent the decency and elegance of the Western suit. In this collection, I am the one who builds the bridge between East and West, showing the intersection of Eastern and Western aesthetics.
